Last Thursday South Shore Democrat Caucus held a town meeting with Tim Murray. By all accounts except the Patriot Ledger's Nancy Reardon, it was a great event. Ms. Reardon wrote an article that can only be described as biased reporting. The title of her page twelve article was “Local Democrats express frustration with Patrick’s message”. BelowBoston.com recorded the town hall meeting with Tim Murray.
Please review the videos. If you agree that Nancy Reardon's reporting was unfair, please write her editor and demand fair and balanced coverage from the Patriot Ledger. editpage@ledger.com
“You win an election on talking points. Republicans know how to do that; Democrats don’t,” said Loretta McCabe of Scituate.
Murray told the crowd: “I think you’re right. We’ve got to be more disciplined in our message.”

Some people were concerned that the administration is focusing too much on what it’s already done and not enough on future promises, like plans for job creation.
“You really have to emphasis jobs, jobs, jobs,” said Gail Collins of Cohasset.
Video for this segment:
Agnes McCann of Cohasset told Murray “you don’t invite your friends in to show them you organized your closet. You’re supposed to do that.”
Video for this segment:
A Cohasset woman who identified herself as Ronnie said, “Things are not really that good. People will look at where they are today. What are you doing to address the problem, besides casino gambling? What is your plan?”
Video for this segment:
One audience member told him he should view the U.S. Senate election as a “working-class revolt.”
Video for this segment:
After the meeting, Susan Haley of Weymouth (Sue is from Hingham not Weymouth) said, “I think we’re more in tune with the type of voter who voted for Scott Brown.”
